Osun FCDIP Organises 2019 ASA Day Celebration, To Hold Thursday Nov 28

The 2019 Asa day celebration organised by the Osun state chapter Forum of Community Development and Information Practitioners of Nigeria holds on Thursday 28th Nov.2019.

Venue of the Asa day billed for morning is the multi purpose hall of the state of Osun Local government service commission.

A statement jointly signed by the chairman forum of community development and information practitioners FCDIP Adegboyega Aderinwale Omoloju Olodumare,secretary Omotoyosi Adetuberu,chairman planning committee Olalekan Bamidele and scribe Florence Adekunle indicates that governor state of Osun Mr.Gboyega Oyetola is the chief guest of honour while speaker state parliament Rt.Hon.Timothy Owoeye is the special guest of honour.

According to the statement wife of the state governor Mrs.Kafayat Oyetola is the mother of the day,Engr Chief Tunde Ponle father of the day while Dr.Mrs.Adeola Adijat Faleye of the linguistics and African languages Obafemi Awolowo OAU Ile-Ife is the guest lecturer at the event.

Guests of honours includes the state of Osun Head of service Dr.Oyebade Olowogboyega,commissioners for local government and Chieftancy affairs Prince Adebayo Adeleye,culture and tourism Dr.Obawale Adebisi,Information and civic orientation Mrs.Funke Egbemode,chairman centre for black culture and Intl.understanding Prof.Siyan Oyeweso and founder Yoruba Broadcasters Association of Nigeria Chief Jare Ayo Martins.

The release stressed that Orangun of Oke Ila Oba Adedokun Abolarin is the chairman of the occasion,Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is the grand royal guest,Aragbiji of Iragbiji Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi royal guest and the Ataoja of Osogbo Oba Jimoh Olanipekun is the royal host.

According to the release, Osun NUJ Chairman, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji is expected to lead all Chapels’ Chairmen and members of the NUJ in the state to the venue of the programme just as all General Managers of Radio and Television in the state are also expected to grace the event.

The theme for Asa day celebration which is the maiden edition is’The position of culture in human endeavors:putting on of various fabrics as an example.(Ipo ti asa wa ninu itesiwaju omoniyan,aso wiwo gege bi apeere)

Who is who and other stakeholders in human culture and tradition are expected to grace the programme where chairman Algon state of Osun Hon.Abiodun Idowu and chairman local government service commission Elder Tunde Adedeji are the chief hosts.

Chairman and secretary forum of HOD’s department of community development,education, culture, youth,sports,women development and information Messrs Shadrach Ologbenla and Bukola Elufadejin are the hosts.

Ace cultural musician chief Jimi Solanke and Chief Femi Oyaro ‘Adamo Ife will entertain guests at the all important event.

Chairman Osun NLC Comrade Jacob Adekomi and the President Osun Nulge comrade Jacob Adeyeye will also grace the occasion where the ace folklorist Baba Ajobiewe will be the master of the ceremony.
