Ondo Regent Decries Poor Road Network

The Regent of Ibulesoro kingdom in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state, Princess Moyinoluwa Falowo has appealed to the Ondo state government to extend the ongoing roads construction and rehabilitation to her community.

The regent who solicited for the assistance of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to help them fix the Ibule to Aule road said that fixing the road would bring more developmental things to the community.

She made the appeal on Monday while speaking with journalists in Ibulesoro at the palace of Olubule of Ibulesoro said, the community will be very grateful if the state government could rehabilitate the said road.

Princess Falowo who was installed as regent on 11th April, 2019 after the demise of her late father, slap lamented the travails facing them especially during the rainy season, as a result of the poor condition of the roads.

Her words, “If government can help us to tar the road it would bring more developmental things to our community, people will come and build houses, it would be easy for our farmers to transport their crops from farm to the community, and also serve as alternative route to FUTA north gate for travellers.

“Also, we need bank there is no bank in the whole entire Ibulesoro community my father has taken steps on all these before his demise. But I’m appealing to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on behalf of the community to help us fit the road.

“Also, our secondary school, Jooro high school needs renovation, the entire building needs renovation.

“Government should also extend the ongoing ‘Kamomi Aketi’ project to the new area in the community”.

The regent also commended the state government for rehabilitating deplorable roads across the 18 local government areas in the state.

Princess Falowo however solicited for the maximum cooperation of Ibulesoro people in order to hand over successful to the next king.

She also advised youths in the state to be more serious of their lives which would help them to be responsible in life.
