Eid-El-Kabir: Former Commissioner, Biyi Odunlade Felicitates with Muslims
Former Commissioner for Social Protection, Sports and Special Needs in the State of Osun, Comrade Biyi Odunlade has felicitated with Muslim ummah on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.
In a press statement issued today, by his media aide, Matthew Afolabi, Odunlade said that Eid-El-Kabir celebration reminds us of great sacrifice and love that Almighty Allah has shown to mankind.
He said, “Let the lessons of piety, love, forgiveness, kindness, giving and tolerance remained permanently with us even after the celebration.”
“I urge Muslim faithful to pray for the peace of Nigeria and the State of Osun in particular.”
“It is important that we pray for our leaders at all levels especially, our President, Muhammadu Buhari and our governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as they work round the clock in ensuring that our people are lifted out of poverty.”
“The unity of our state is not-negotiable, therefore, let us be united to move the state forward.”
Odunlade prayed that Almighty Allah shall protect everyone to witness the next celebration
