Tinubu Defeats Atiku, Obi in Borno
The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Yinubu has won the presidential election conducted on 25th February, 3934 in Borno state.
The APC presidential election who polled 252, 282 votes to defeat its closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who scored 190,921 votes while the NNPP candidate, Sebayir Rabiu Kwankwaso polled 4,626 votes as against LP., Peter Obi who scored 7 , 205 go emerged 3rd SBD fourth positions respective.
The APC eon in.23 local governments areas of the state, while PDP won 4 local governments areas.
The results was signed by all political parties that were in attendance.
While reading out the results scored by the political parties, the Borno state Collation Officer for the Presidential election Prof Jude Rabo, Vice Chancellor Federal University Wujjari said total registered voters, 2, 487,337,,total accredited 498,543
, total vite cast 497,945, total rejected voted 32658 abd total valid votes 465,287
Speaking on the outcome of the results, the APC party chairman, Alhaji Ali Dslori said ” today we are happy with outcome of the results but we cannot celebrate because if the unfortunate incident at the Maiduguri Monday natjet.
On the issue of the allegation of irregularities, tgd party chairman said ” any patty that us defeated will always bring excuses of their failure Borno has always be APC state right from APP, ANPP and now APC. You cannot slap somebody and stop him from cryinh, let them continue to cry unyill they tired”.
