PDP NWC Has No Right To Expel Me – Nnamani Tells Ayu
Former Enugu State Governor Senator, Dr Chimaroke Nnamani has told Dr. Iyorchia Ayu led National working Committee of the peoples Democratic Party that it has no powers to expel him from the party.
Senator Nnamani who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa made the argument in a letter to the PDP National working committee through his Counsel chief Olusegun Jolaawo , a senior advocate of Nigeria,SAN.
The Enugu East lawmaker said that the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu led NWC that it has no power to expel him from the party.
He further remarked that the expulsion process did not conform with due procedures of the PDP’s constitution.
The City mirror News Online had reported the expulsion of the former Enugu State governor on Friday evening, over alleged anti-party activites alongside other party members in Ekiti and Imo states.
