APC Adjust Campaign Timetable, Announces Date To Launch Fundraising App
The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has adjusted its presidential campaign timetable to accommodate more programmes ahead of next year’s general election.
The revised Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) APC Campaign time table shows that a fundraising dinner is slated for Sunday, November 27 in Lagos. The Council will also launch its “crowd-sourcing app” on the same day.
The new calendar also revealed that the party’s standard bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, November 30 will meet with Southwest leaders. The campaign train is expected to move to Bayelsa State on Thursday, December 1. The candidate will be engaging the organised labour in a parley in Lagos on Friday and the Lagos State rally and Southwest stakeholders meeting are to take place the next day.
Tinubu’s international engagements would now hold from December 4-12, 2022.
On return from his international engagements, Tinubu and Shetimma are expected to hold a rally in Kaduna State on the 13th of December and move to Minna, Niger State the next day. A town hall meeting is planned for Edo State for Thursday, December 15 while the Abuja Youth rally would hold on December 17.
River State is billed for 19th December in Port Harcourt and a town hall meeting with some stakeholders from the Southsouth is scheduled for Calabar, Cross Rivers State on the 20th of December with a similar town hall meeting with members of the Creative Arts Industry the next day in Lagos.
There will be a musical concert to close the campaign for the year on the 22nd December in Lagos.
The campaign council would then go on a break from December 23, 2022 to January 3, 2023.
The campaign train is expected to be more engaged in January and February.
The grand finale is planned for February 15, 2023, in Lagos.
Equally, the PCC would use the period between February 16 and 24 for “election planning”.
