We Cannot Continue To Buy Political Offices In Nigeria – APC Presidential Aspirant
A presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba II, has expressed disappointment over the 100 million naira proposed purchase form fee for the presidential Expression of Interest form.
The APC on Wednesday released its proposed purchase of form fees in which presidential aspirants are to pay 30 million for Nomination and 100 million for Expression of Interest forms.
Garba II expressed shock on his social media pages over the outrageous price of the presidential forms.
He tweeted, “100M for the form. Wow!”
He also urged Nigerians to come together to save the country from rich politicians, adding that politicians shouldn’t be allowed to continue to buy political offices.
“If we don’t come together and use our collective power to save this country from the strangulation of the moneybags, we are doing a great disservice to our generation and that of the future.
”We cannot continue to buy political offices in Nigeria, we need competent leaders come 2023,” he said.
Adamu Garba who is an IT entrepreneur and CEO of IPI Solutions had contested for the seat of the president during the 2019 elections and has expressed interest to recontest in 2023.
