Tinubu: Osun Speaker Rallies Support For PCC Media Committee
The Speaker of the Osun state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye has charged the Osun Media and Publicity committee of APC Presidential Campaign Council on effective service delivery.
The Speaker gave the charge in his office while receiving members of the committee. The committee had in furtherance of its assignment towards ensuring the success of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election, visited the Speaker on Tuesday, 13th of December, 2022.
Abimbola Tooki, the team leader, intimated the Speaker with the reason for the courtesy call which, according to him, “is to solicit the support of Mr. Speaker towards the successful execution of the various programs before the committee”.
Owoeye in his response assured the committee of his support, saying that he will do everything within his power to ensure that the committee succeeds in this critical assignment.
He charged the committee to hit the ground running “so as to realise our collective objective of ensuring that Asiwaju Tinubu emerges victorious in the coming presidential election”.
He further reminded members of the committee about the daunting task ahead and hammered on the urgent need to change the narratives in favour of the APC presidential candidate and also the party in general.
According to him, the task ahead is daunting and requires that no stone is left unturned in this onerous task of ensuring victory for our candidate and our party in general.
According to the Speaker, “You must carry our crusade of hope to every nook and cranny of this state”; he said.
While wishing the committee the best of luck, Owoeye further reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the committe deliver on its mandate.
