3,000 Members Of Opposition Parties Decamp To APC In Osun
Over 3,000 members of the opposition parties on Thursday decamped to ruling All Progressives Congress in Odo-otin Local Government Area of Osun State.
The Coordinator of Ilerioluwa in Odo-otin , Hon George Durosinmi received the decampees at a programme which was held at Okuku, headquarters of Odo-otin council area.
Speaking, Hon Durosinmi, described decision of the decampees to pitch their tent with the ruling All Progressives Congress as a welcome Development.
Durosinmi further stated that the newly defected members’ decision is a signs of good governance and unprecedented development Governor Gboyega Oyetola led administration has brought to the state within a short period of time.
He also commended Governror Oyetola for his laudable achievements, assuring citizens of more dividends of democracy under the present administration.
One of the Leaders of All Progressives Congress in Odo-Otin central,
Chief Duro Olaleke while speaking, said he believes that the emerged will help in strengthen the party towards 2022 gubernatorial election.
Speaking on behalf of decampees, Sunday Popoola, Olalekan Oni, Rafiu Niniola expressed their satisfaction toward the achievement of governor gboyega oyetola in the last 23 months.
They however urged people condemning oyetola’s administration to be more supportive and faithful to the government in all ramifications.
The party flag later received by the leader of decampee as a sign of progressives family and urge them to be faithful and proactive in the party.
