2019 General Polls: Vote For All ADP Candidates – Adeoti Urges Osun Voters
Press Release
In spite of recent campaign of calumny and character assassination by some faceless writers against the person of the current National Vice Chairman of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti, electorate in Osun State have been enjoined to vote massively for all the party’s (ADP) candidates in all the approaching elections.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the media aide to Alhaji Adeoti, Mr Kayode Agbaje and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to him, Alhaji Adeoti’s directive to all ADP supporters ahead of the February 16 National Assembly elections has become necessary in view of a recent rumour that the ADP leader at a purported meeting held at Oluwo’s Palace as haven directed all his party’s candidates to step down for some other party’s candidates.
”I wish to reiterate that at no time was any meeting to such effect held recently at any location where I made such directive to our party’s candidates.
”As a matter of this, as at the time the purported meeting was held, I was in Odo-Otin Local Government Council Area, campaigning vigorously for all ADP candidates in the fast-approaching elections.
”Therefore, the purported meeting and frivolously directive from me to all ADP candidates to step down only exist in the imagination of the master minds of the rumour,” Alhaji Adeoti stressed.
The frontline politician therefore by this statement admonished ADP teeming supporters to disregard such rumour and vote massively to ensure victory for all the party’s candidates in the elections.
Signed:
Kayode Agbaje
Media Aide to Alhaji Moshood Adeoti,
ADP National Vice Chairman.
