U&I Media Outfit Celebrates Orangun Of Ila At 60, Launches Book In Honour Of Monarch

As the grand finale of the activities lined up to mark the 15th coronation anniversary and 60th birthday of Orangun of Ila Oba Wahab Kayode Oyedotun Bibire 1, comes up tomorrow, June 30, 2018, a media outfit in Osogbo, U and I media group has set to launch a book to crown the birthday ceremony and coronation anniversary of the monarch.

The book presentation titled “The Living Spring: A Biography of his Royal Majesty, Oba Wahab Kayode Oyesotun Bibire 1(the Orangun of Ila) was put together by a media guru and the Chief Executive Officer of U and I media group, Mr.Olusola Ajala which is expected to take place at Orangun’s palace, Ila-Orangun.

According to the information made available by the U&I Media, Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land and Senator Iyiola Omisore are the Chief Reviewers while Seyi Makinde and Hon Lasun Yussuff are the Chief Launchers.

Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the former governor of Osun is the Chairman of the occasion while Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Executive Governor, Osun state is the Special Guess of Honour.

Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is the Royal Father of the day. However, Prof Siyan Oyeweso would be the book reviewer.

The three days event which had started since Thursday 28 with traditional homage by traditional chiefs, cultural display and praise and worship by Christian Association of Nigeria Ila Orangun.

Today, friday there will be Jumat service and novelty footbal match (ita Oba soccer Final).

According to the information made available to reporter, the grand finale will hold on Saturday June 30th with book launch and installation of Honourary Chiefs

Traditional Rulers including Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11 Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, Alara of Aramoko, Orangun of Oke Ila, Owa of Ajero among others.

Other dignitaries expected to grace the occassion includes :Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Chief Bisi Akande, chief Risikat Alabi, Alhaja Opeloyeru Onafuwa
