Irepodun LCDA Provides Operational Vehicles For Parliamentarians, Staff

The leadership of Irepodun South Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Erin-Osun, Osun state has donated operational vehicles to members of the council’s Executive Management Committee and staff of the council to aid the discharge of their official duties.

Apart from the vehicles, the council leadership also donated gifts items and cash to widows and aged, with an 18-seater hummer bus to Elerin-In-Council so as to make life more better for the people of the town.

The Executive Chairman, Honourable Adekunle Oloyede-JK while presenting 6 Toyota Camry Muzzle and Toyota Corolla to the parliamentarians posited that his administration would continue to give members of the legislative arm the wherewithal to perform their duties effectively, stressing they are partners in progress.

Oloyede-JK who said the gesture was in furtherance of his commitment and quest of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s 6 point integral action plan to the course of eradicating poverty at all levels.

He noted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue to ensure that succor is brought to the people particularly at the grassroots, saying these gestures enhance grassroots and social development.

“This is not the first time our government is providing opportunities by reaching out to our people in this regard. The gesture of this magnitude was first brought to the people of our Council Development Area, precisely on April 18, this year.

“This is an indication of a purposeful government that is always in alignment with people at the grassroots and committed to bringing the dividends of democracy close to the electorates.”

” Our administration will continue to provide the lawmakers  with the wherewithal to perform its statutory functions within the limit of the financial resources of Government.”

Oloyede-JK however, enjoined the people of the area to come out en-mass and cast their vote for APC, during the September 22 gubernatorial election, saying they should ensure the continuity of good governance in the state.

Appreciating  the council boss, the Elerin of Erin-Osun, Oba Yusuf Adekunle Oyagbodun 11, expressed appreciation for the gesture, saying the people of the town would forever remember the Chairman.

Represented by Eesa of Erin-Osun, Chief Ibrahim, Oba Adekunle appealed to the people of the community to come out en mass and cast their vote for Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola come September 22, this.

Leader of the house, Irepodun LCDA , Adeniran Kazali, thanked the Council boss for the gesture, noting that they would continue to work together to bring more development to the local government area.
