On Party Unity And Total Alignment With The APC Campaign Committee By Rotimi Makinde

In APC, ambition is not a crime. But ambition without alignment is suicide.

Now that our party and our leader, H.E. Gboyega Oyetola, has in his wisdom constituted the APC Campaign Committee and appointed capable hands like Hon. Wole Oke and other eminent party faithful to serve, I state without delay: All ambitious persons in Osun APC must collapse their structures, submit their energy, and partner fully with this Committee.

Only veterans understand this truth: *A win for us at the governorship level is the starting point of success across board.

If we lose Osun State,God forbid, there is no “federal” to return to. There is no “Rep or Senate or assembly ticket” that Abuja power can rescue. When the head is cut off, the body dies. When we win the state, every aspirant, every ward, every LGA in Ife Federal Constituency and beyond eats from that victory.

*I first offered myself to serve this constituency in 2007. I won in 2011 and served our people till 2015 without blemish. Through 18 years of victory and defeat, I have never left this party for one day.* I have seen what disunity costs us. I have also seen what unity delivers.Good management of fund is anther key to victory.

*I, Rotimi Makinde, from Ife East, Ilode 1, which was delivered even when I was not on ballot declare today: My structure, built since 2007, is available to the Campaign Committee led by Hon. Wole Oke. My ambition ends where the party’s survival begins.*

To my fellow aspirants across Ife Central, East, North, South and Modakeke: Let us contest like brothers. Let us reconcile like family. And now that the Committee is in place, let us hand over our platforms to it. That is how veterans think. That is how we win.

Ife stands for balance. APC stands for victory. Oyebamiji’s victory is our foundation.
