Osun 2026 And Ile Ife Interest By Rotimi Makinde

As a son of this noble land, I wish to express my unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of our community.

If Senator Iyiola Omisore or Senator Babajide Omoworare emerges as the APC governorship candidate in 2026, I will graciously step aside, prioritizing the greater community good over personal ambition.

I believe their leadership will be a catalyst for transformation, and I will focus on fostering fraternal love, unity, and development across our constituency, particularly ensuring that we reciprocate the affectionate expressions to our neighboring towns and communities in Ile Ife.

As the adage goes, “He who expects love must command affection,” and I believe that by showing love and care to all areas of our constituency, we can guarantee not only their votes if we are reducing it to political implications, but more importantly build a stronger, more united Ile Ife.

However, should the opportunity arise for me to serve, I would do so with humility, dedication, and a servant-leadership approach, as i have always, putting the interests of Ile Ife and its environs at the forefront.

I will continue to strive to be a bridge-builder, fostering relationships and development that benefits all, regardless of geographical or political divides.

I celebrate our party’s values, which emphasise pedigree, culture, and tradition, and I am confident that merit and integrity will always be upheld.

My love for Ile Ife and our people remain unwavering, and I look forward to contributing to her sustained growth and prosperity.

Hon Rotimi Makinde
Former, Member House of Representatives
[2011-2015]
