APC National Secretary: Making Case For Sen Bàbàjide Omoworàre, A Seasoned, Experienced Politician By Adeboye Adebayo

It is no longer news that Senator Iyiola Omisore of Ile – Ife, Osun state has resigned his position as the national secretary of our great party, APC, hence the party is seriously shopping for a competent round peg in that vacant round hole now.

For justice and fairness, it is just right for the leaders of our great party to allow the office to remain in the state and also in the region where the former occupant comes from since we have seasoned, competent and loyal chieftains of our party from the place.

Senator Babajide Omoworare, a seasoned and experienced politician who is a core loyalist of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from time immemorial is from ile Ife, Osun state where omisore hails from. Omoworare was a majority leader in the Lagos state house of assembly for many terms before he became a senator who represented Osun east Senatorial district at the Senate. During his tenure at the red chamber, he was a contributory and a participatory lawmaker with many bills to his credit, he attracted many developments and federal presence to his senatorial district and he constructively empowered the youths and women in his district beyond regular distributions of cars or sewing machines thereby endeared him to the populace in the state.

Senator Babajide Omoworare is a party man to the core in the state and beyond, he is not snub, but humane, accessible and he is a solutions provider, not is impossible with him when it comes to benefits for party people, I have very numerous examples to be sighted in this regard. His house is an open arena for party faithfuls in the state, thereby making him very popular within Osun APC.

Senator Babajide Omoworare is the immediate past special adviser to former President Mohammodu Buhari on National Assembly matters (Senate) where he played major roles in stabilising the relationship between the legislature and the executive at the time due to his vast experience in party politics and good relationship with people across board.

Full of experience and energy, Babajide Omoworare possesses the administrative acumen to lead the Secretariat of our great party at National level if given the chance.

No doubt, the national chairman of our great party will go to a northern muslin and for justice, fairness and equity to remain, a southern Christian should be considered as the national secretary.
