APC Convention: Ibrahim Ali-Balogun,The Best Thing That Can Happen To APC National Youth Leadership By Adeboye Adebayo

Our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC has indeed passed through turbulent times as a ruling party obviously because of partisan interests. The party and its numerous members have not been able to usefully maximize the available opportunities as a ruling party in Nigeria.

Despite the promissory nature of the party and the huge zeal to deliver at the formations, the usual political intrigues and scheming have deprived the party the opportunities to deliver to the fullest, the dividends of democracy loaded in it.

Political parties anywhere in the World are more than a mere platform to win elections rather instruments to effect encompassing sociopolitical and economic development & growth of a nation, political parties are tools for positive changes, to deepens democracy and its tenets and that is the reasons why political parties develop robust manifesto covering all the social, economic political and religious sectors of the lives of citizens including development of a unique diplomatic concept to ensure smooth and mutual beneficial social and economic relationship with other countries.

After a lot of interesting intrigues and struggles for its soul, our great party, APC will hold its National Convention on the 26th March, 2022 where new party leadership will emerge for the sole purpose of reorganising and redirecting the structure of the party towards its originally of becoming the likes of Democrat in US & ANC in South Africa.

As we are going to the convention to elect new leadership, one of the most important executive position that must not be joked with among others is the position of the National Youth Leader. No doubt, our great party is full of active young people as members, energetic, full of ideas and ready to serve their country with patriotism, loyalty and unwavering commitment but what is lacking is quality leadership, leadership that will give them direction, leadership that will tweak the potentials in them for fruitful performances for the benefit of all.

That is where Ibrahim Ali-Balogun comes in, born & bred in Surulere Local Government of Lagos State, Ally-B as he fondly called is a competent young man that should assume of the office National Youth Leader of our great party, he is full of energy, dynamism, experience and skills.

He has the vision, confidence and the ability to provide needed leadership to lead our youths on how to handle political pressure & agitations. He can help build confidence in young people and he has the skills to communicate and get through to their mind and positively change their mindset towards the policies and principles of our great party and our government.

With more than 20 years’ cumulative experience as leader of youths at various levels in politics, community services, religious organization and currently as the Special Adviser to the Honourable Speaker, Nigeria’s Federal House of Representatives, Ali-Balogun is adept in coordinations, missions planning, and counseling. He has acquired experience participating in all round religious, educational, socioeconomic and political programs nationwide beyond ethnic barriers for young people and his strong organizational and planning skills will certainly allow him to make great contributions to the team of leaders coming up as the national executive committee of our great party, APC.

Moreover, Ibrahim Ali-Balogun’s on-the-job experience has afforded him a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate human & crisis management, innovative ideas and people skills, he excels at: organizing and leading diverse youth groups, Involving & mobilising youths in activities to foster volunteer attitudes. Assisting individuals with personal and spiritual questions. Developing initiatives and strategies to bring in more youths to participate and see reasons to be card carrying member of our great party.

In addition to his experience and personal qualities, he has a solid educational foundation and a passion for youth fellowship. He is extremely enthusiastic about the growth and developments of our great party, APC’s focus on youths’ involvement and would welcome the opportunities to contribute to the continued success of our party in encouraging youths to develop love and a servant-like attitude towards all the activities of our great party and government.

If this noble opportunity is afforded him, he will utilise the huge platform to mobilise supports and seamless participations of Nigerian youths positively towards the progress of our great party, APC and success of our government.
