15 Years Remembrance: Muiwa Aina Pays Tribute To Late Chief SM Afolabi

It is about fifteen years ago when iree kingdom lost one of illustrious son,in person of chief S.M Afolabi after a brief illness. These political jury has left a footstep nationally as minister of education ,minister of internal affairs,respectively.

Also he has left his foot print as the formal deputy governor of old oyo state,unlike some people that will not remember their background he make sure that he put the name of iree in the world map through his influence in establishment of Osun state polytechnic since then Iree has become a citadel of learning as student live to enrol in the polytechnic as graduate.

Many Iree indigene who are now fully employ nationally and internationally, so there is no way Iree history will be written without mentioning this great political icon of Nigeria, he has also contributed in area of grooming of younger political elite chief Adeniyi Aina ,of blessed alhaji Oyeboade , alhaji Alawode, alhaji Asalatu, alhaji Ajelakun, all of blessed memories those who are alive doing well in their various parties such as chief ponle and chief Yinka Adeojo just to mention a view . Please help me to celebrate this great men , legend late chief S.M Afolabi .
