APC Convention: Osun APC Elders Congratulate Basiru On His Re-election

The apex body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Igbimo-Agba Osun has congratulated Dr Ajibola Basiru, on his re-election as the party National Secretary in the just conclusion 8th national convention.

Igbimo-Agba Osun in a statement signed by its Chairman, Chief Engr. Sola Akinwumi, expressed optimism that Basiru’s re-election shall serve as an impetus to further give his best towards having a great party under the new leadership.

The APC Elders attributed the feat to the political understanding always demonstrated by President Bola Tinubu, former Governor of Osun, Chief Bisi Akande and the current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, in their respective capabilities.

“The leadership of the above body is using this medium to rejoice with the reelected Senator Surajudeen Basiru AJIBOLA as APC,National Secretary in the APC National Convention held in Abuja last Saturday the 28th day of this month.

“The feat was attributed to the political understanding always demonstrated by our indefatigable leaders ,H/E SENATOR BOLA AHMED TINUBU, the President of Nigeria, H/E Chief Bisi Akande and H/E Alh Isiaka Gboyega in their respective capacities.

“I strongly believe that our son’s re-eletion shall serve as an impetous to further give his best towards having a great and stronger Party under the new leadership.

“I implore all newly elected National and Zonal Officers of our Party to bear in mind the indisputable fact that only a united ,cohesive and all inclusive leadership guarantees electoral successes which is our utmost desire starting with Osun State Governorship election of 15th day of August, 2026

“I wish all those who emerged as Officers of our great Party a successful tenure of Office”.
