Osun Renewed Hope Ambassadors Hail Enitan’s Appointment As Head Of Service
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Osun State Chapter, has congratulated Mr Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan on his appointment as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Enitan’s competence, dedication and decades of meritorious service to the nation.
In a statement signed by its Osun State Coordinator, Oluomo Sunday Akere, the group said Enitan’s emergence as the nation’s top civil servant underscored the importance of experience, professionalism and institutional knowledge in strengthening public administration.
The statement read in part: “Mr Enitan’s emergence as the nation’s top civil servant reflects the value of experience, professionalism, and institutional knowledge in strengthening public administration.”
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors said Enitan, an illustrious son of Osun State, had continued to make the state proud through his distinguished career in the Federal Civil Service.
According to the group, before his appointment, Enitan served as the most senior Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service and brought his wealth of experience to several critical government institutions, including the Ministry of Police Affairs, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, the Office of the Vice President and the Federal Ministry of Education.
The group also commended President Tinubu for what it described as a strategic appointment, saying it demonstrated the administration’s commitment to building a professional, accountable and efficient civil service capable of driving national development.
“The choice of Mr Enitan demonstrates the administration’s confidence in competence, continuity, and reforms that place service delivery at the centre of governance,” the statement added.
The Osun chapter also appreciated the outgoing Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, for her years of dedicated service and the reforms and innovations recorded during her tenure.
The group expressed confidence that Enitan would deploy his extensive experience, leadership capacity and understanding of government processes to strengthen the civil service and improve service delivery to Nigerians.
It said: “We believe his tenure will further strengthen the civil service and advance the vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda through professionalism, accountability, and improved service to Nigerians.”
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors wished Enitan success as he assumes the important national responsibility and expressed optimism that his appointment would further enhance the effectiveness of the Federal Civil Service.
