‘We Are One APC Family. It’s Not Too Late To Heal, Reconcile’, Makinde Reacts To Osun APC Primaries
The Osun APC primary could have been managed in a way that strengthened us, not divided us.
Most of us who contested understood the value of unity. If the process had been handled with fairness and sincerity, 80% of us would have set aside personal ambition early, saved our resources, energy, and time, and aligned behind a common purpose for the governorship race.
Sadly, the lack of firmness and the actions of a few who treated the process like a business venture deepened the cracks. Now the wound is fresh, and the pain is real across the party family.
Who among us would not have listened to the voice of our elders if they had been allowed to guide us with a clear and honest process?
We are one APC family. It is not too late to heal, to reconcile, and to rebuild together for Osun.
