The Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference (NBCYC) has announced its 2026 Youth Night, themed “Katarizo (Equipped),” scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Abuja.

In a statement signed by the NBCYC President, Bro. Amos Kadanga, the conference is designed to spiritually equip young people for impactful Christian living, drawing inspiration from scriptures including Hebrews 13:21, 1 Corinthians 12:4–11, and Galatians 5:22–23.

The event will take place at the National Ecumenical Center, located along Sani Abacha Way, Central Business District, Abuja, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

According to the statement, the Youth Night will feature a lineup of notable ministers and speakers, including Rev. Dr. Israel Akanji, President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention; Rev. Dr. S. Olawuyi James, Director of Youth and Student Ministries, NBC; Rev. Dr. G. Okiki, National Coordinator of NBCYC; Rev. Dr. John Oluwajana; Rev. J.J. Hayab; and Ambassador Amos Kadanga.

Music ministration will be led by Min. Jo E., adding a vibrant worship experience to the gathering.

Kadanga noted that the programme aims to provide a platform for spiritual renewal, empowerment, and fellowship among Baptist youths and other Christian participants across the country.

Registration for the event is pegged at N2,000, with interested participants encouraged to register online via the NBCYC platform.

He urged youths to take advantage of the opportunity to be equipped for service and leadership in line with the conference theme.

“Katarizo is a call to readiness and effectiveness in our walk with God. We invite all youths to come and be part of this life-transforming encounter,” the statement read.
