US Releases Names, Photos Of 112 Nigerians Facing Deportation

The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released the names and photographs of 112 Nigerians listed for removal from the country.

The updated list, published on the DHS official online portal, contains the identities and other details of Nigerians from different parts of the country who are facing deportation proceedings.

Among those listed are Cletus Onyali, Olaolu Alabi, Marcus Unigwe, Mkpouto Etukudoh, Blessing Uchanma, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Richard Ugbah, Oluwamuyiwa Olawoye, Anthony Asanya and Ebele Agbasiele.

Others named include Izuchukwu Okoye, Olufemi Olufisayo Olutiola, Abiemwense Obanor, Chibuzo Nwaonu, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime, Ifeanyi Okoro, Oluwaseun Kassim, Quazeem Adeyinka and Talatu Dada.

According to the information accompanying the publication, photographs and additional details of the individuals on the list are available through the DHS online portal.

The development comes amid increased immigration enforcement by the US government, particularly against undocumented immigrants and individuals with outstanding removal orders.

The publication of the names and photographs provides further details on Nigerians currently affected by the US immigration enforcement measures.

However, being listed for removal does not, on its own, provide details of the individual circumstances or the specific grounds for each person’s case.

The DHS portal contains the full list and additional information concerning the individuals identified for removal.
