Barr. Abimbola Amusan has launched a weekly media initiative aimed at boosting the governorship ambition of Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji while also reinforcing his own political presence in Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency.

The programme, a 30-minute broadcast titled “AMBO Gb’ode Fun Itesiwaju Osun,” is designed to engage residents on governance, development, and the future of Osun State through structured conversations and public participation.

The radio programme, which is aired on King 87.9 FM Osogbo/Iragbiji road, has already featured several episodes with a lineup of political figures and stakeholders.

Regularly hosted by Alhaji Arisekola Hassan, the show has welcomed guests such as Hon. Oseni Mudasiru, Hon. Fatoki, Alhaji Umar Mohammed, and Hon. Rabiu Lateef, who have spoken on policy direction, grassroots mobilisation, and the need for continuity in leadership. Interactive segments, including phone-in sessions, have also provided an avenue for citizens to contribute their perspectives and connect directly with political actors.

Amusan’s initiative is widely seen as a strategic blend of media engagement and grassroots politics, underscoring his commitment to progressive leadership and community development.

As a leading House of Representatives aspirant, he is positioning himself as a bridge between the people and government, leveraging communication platforms to amplify voices and drive inclusive participation. The programme not only strengthens support for Oyebamiji’s candidacy but also highlights Amusan’s growing influence and readiness to represent Ayedaade at the national level.
