Ambassadorial: Oyebamiji Congratulates Adewole, Fani-Kayode, Adesoye, Akande

The Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO has felicitated former Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode and Hon. Wahab Akande on their ambassadorial appointments.

Oyebamiji also rejoiced with his bosom friend Alhaji Samotu Adesoye, on his elevation to the prestigious post of Ambassador-in-Situ by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Oyebamiji extolled appointees’ exceptional trackrecords that earned them the new feats.

AMBO expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding his childhood friend and three Osun senior citizens worthy of ambassadorial appointments describing it as unprecedented in the history of the state.

It would be recalled that President Tinubu recently appointed and subsequently deployed Prof. Adewole as Nigerian Ambassador to Canada, Chief Fani-Kayode as Nigerian Ambassador to Germany and Hon. Wahab Akande as Nigerian Ambassador to Switzerland respectively.

Prof. Isaac Adewole – an Ijesa-born seasoned professor of medicine and former Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, served as Health Minister under the administration of late President Muhammad Buhari. Chief Fani-Kayode, an Ile-Ife born politician, served as Minister of Aviation under the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Hon. Wahab Akande, an indigene of Ara, in Ẹgbẹdore Local Government Area is a successful bureaucrat.

Oyebamiji in a congratulatory statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Thursday, expressed heartfelt felicitations to the newly deployed Ambassadors.

He described the choice of the Ambassadors as perfect and expressed confidence in their individual’s competence, capacity and administrative acumen to make the State and Nigeria proud in their respective countries of service.

Oyebamiji thanked President Tinubu and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola CON, on the noble choice of the illustrious sons of the state.

He urged the new Ambassadors to bring to bear, their wealths of experience and expertise to achieve the desired goal of promoting the corporate image of Nigeria in their respective countries of service.

“On behalf of my family, i warmly congratulate and celebrate our very own Prof. Adewole, Chief Fani-Kayode, Hon. Wahab Akande and my childhood friend and companion, Alhaji Samotu Adesoye, on their ambassadorial appointments.
