Oyebanji Dissolves Cabinet, Retains SSG, Chief Of Staff, CPS
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has dissolved the State Executive Council following a valedictory session with members of his cabinet as his administration prepares for a new tenure.
However, the governor announced that the dissolution would not affect the Secretary to the State Government, Habibat Adubiaro; Chief of Staff, Oyeniyi Adebayo; and Chief Press Secretary, Olayinka Oyebode, who will retain their respective positions.
The valedictory session, held at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti, marked the final meeting of the outgoing cabinet.
Oyebanji described the dissolved cabinet as a formidable team, commending its members for their contributions to the implementation of his administration’s policies and programmes.
He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve the people of Ekiti State, attributing the achievements of his administration to divine grace, wisdom and the collective efforts of his team.
The governor said his administration had remained committed to making Ekiti State a better place for residents, while appreciating the support and cooperation of cabinet members throughout their period of service.
Oyebanji also assured the outgoing commissioners and other members of the council that he would maintain contact with them despite the dissolution of the cabinet.
