Osun 2026: Group Congratulates Adeleke Over Successful Screening, Reaffirms Commitment To His Re-election Bid
The Imole Independent Support Forum (IISF) has congratulated Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his successful screening as a governorship aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
The group, in a congratulatory statement issued on Friday by its Spokesperson /Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ebenezer Olusegun Ige, recalled that Governor had earlier been adopted as the sole candidate of the PDP for the 2026 election as a result of his wide acceptability, popularity, and superlative performance in office.
According to statement, “We particularly want to commend the Governor for his remarks reaffirming the unity and readiness of the PDP for victory in the 2026 polls, as well as his commitment to democratic transparency and good governance. Indeed, his record of performance, infrastructural renewal, workers’ welfare, and inclusive governance has endeared him to the people and earned him nationwide respect.
“As a strategic support movement, the Imole Independent Support Forum proudly aligns with the Governor’s declaration that “We are ready for victory come 2026.” We wish to therefore restate our total commitment for massive and strategic grassroots mobilization across all local governments, wards, and polling units to ensure an overwhelming re-election victory for Governor Adeleke on August 8, 2026.
“We remain fully committed to the Imole Agenda of progress, development, and people-centered governance. Osun State is on a steady path to sustainable growth and inclusive prosperity.”
