Ooni To Speak At NIA 8th Edition Of Osun Architects’ Sustainable Information Synthesis Forum

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi is expected to lead conversation as the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Osun State Chapter, is set to host the 8th edition of of Osun Architects’ Sustainable Information Synthesis Forum.

The event is scheduled to hold between Wednesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 14, in Osogbo.

Speaking with InsightMedia shortly after a visit to the Palace, immediate past Public Relations Officer of the Institute, Architect Yemi Oke said Oba Ogunwusi is expected to lead the conversation on transformative ideas and solutions for sustainable development.

He said, “As our father, Baba is expected to speak on the symbolic presence of Ori Olokun in the logo of the Nigerian Institute of Architects. It is going to be an avenue to connect the past with the future as history will be rekindled and made.”

The theme of the event, responsibilities in the built environment; towards integrated professional actions for sustainable future, is expected to address critical areas in the Architecture profession.

The event will also serve as an avenue to raise N100m for the construction of the secretariat of the Institute.
