A 73-year-old Israeli man named Avi Warshaviak has died after falling sick at a hotel in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.

According to security expert Zagazola Makama, the incident happened on Saturday at Corinthia Villa Hotel in Garki, where Warshaviak was staying with his wife.

Sources said he suddenly became sick around 9:51 a.m. He was rushed to Asokoro General Hospital but was confirmed dead shortly after arriving.

The hotel’s Chief Security Officer, Okorie Emmanuel, reported the matter to Garki Divisional Police Headquarters at about 11:23 a.m.
