Breaking: Shock, Tears As Nollywood Actress Allwell Ademola Slumps, Dies At 43
Nollywood has been shaken by the sudden death of actress and film producer Allwell Ademola, who passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 43.
Reports indicate she suffered a suspected heart attack at her residence before being rushed to Ancilla Hospital in Agege, Lagos, where she was later confirmed dead.
Ademola, a respected figure in the Nigerian film industry, was known for her work both in front of and behind the camera.
Over the years, she featured in and produced several notable films, helping to nurture the careers of many emerging actors, including Rotimi Salami.
Her passing has sparked an outpouring of grief across the entertainment community.
Veteran actress Faithia Williams shared her shock on social media, writing, “Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke,” while actor Damola Olatunji described life as a mirage in his tribute. Fellow star Bidemi Kosoko reacted with disbelief, pleading for the news not to be true.
Ademola was also known for her distinguished lineage, being the granddaughter of the late Sir Adetokunbo Ademola, a revered Nigerian jurist and former Chief Justice of Nigeria.
