Without Aregbesola, I Am Nobody In Politics – Adeleke’s Aide
The Commissioner for Political and Intergovernmental Affairs in Osun State, Dr. Biyi Odunlade, has attributed the success of his political career to the immediate past Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Speaking at a special birthday reception organised by Omoluabi Progressives for Aregbesola’s 68th birthday in Osogbo on Sunday, Odunlade described Aregbesola as a leader who is deeply committed to the upliftment of his followers.
The Ife-born politician who represented Governor Ademola Adeleke at the event, also eulogised the celebrant’s contributions to the development of Osun and the nation at large.
“I am more than happy to be here today. This is because Ogbeni Aregbesola is my benefactor to me and my family. I cannot be who or where I am in politics today without giving credits to this man. He is my leader, my mentor and benefactor.
“He is an inspiration to me and many of us and I am more than grateful to him. You are a leader with a difference. I celebrate you because you left a good template for good governance in Osun State that can not be faulted by anybody.
“Your legacy of service is exemplary and remarkable, one that stands you out among your contemporaries,” Odunlade stressed.
