Jigawa Extends Deadline For 2025 Hajj Fare Payment
The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board (JSPWB) has extended the deadline for the payment of the 2025 Hajj fare to March 7 for intending pilgrims.
The Director-General of the board, Alhaji Ahmed Labbo, stated this in a statement by the board’s Spokesperson, Mr Habibu Yusuf, on Wednesday in Dutse.
Labbo said the development followed a directive from the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON).
He explained that the extension would give them adequate time to make payment.
The director general said that the board has so far remitted over N6 billion to the NAHCON for the 2025 Hajj.
Labbo urged staff of the board to put more effort in discharging their duties.
He commended the Gov. Umar Namadi of Jigawa for his commitment to the welfare of the state’s pilgrims.
