Students Leaders Appreciate Government Rice Palliatives, Urge Further Far-reaching Interventions

The Student Union President of Osun State College of Education, ila Oragun Comr. Bamidele Quadril and his counterpart in Federal Polytechnic Ede Comr. Fatola Tunde, has both embrace and praise the efforts of the former NANS President, Comrade SUNDAY ASEFON who is the current Senior Special Assistance to President Bola Tinubu on Students matters over his gesture by facilitating Rice Distribution palliatives to the head of each Institution in Nigeria.

In a separate statements, the Union Presidents commended the government for the gesture, noting that in a time like this, interventions in whatever form to cushion the effects of hardship on Nigerian Students ike distribution of palliatives and NELFUND interventions which has benefited thousands of students are welcome development at all time.

The Ila Union President, Comrade Quadri lastly called on the Nigerian government to ensure it did more to ensure the government meets up with other critical infrastructural needs of the Nigerian students. In his own words, Comrade Fatola of Federal Polytechnic, Ede urged the SSAP on Students Matter to ensure he pressurizes the Government more by ensuring systems were put in place to tuition fees are students friendly.
