EFCC Disowns Dismissed Officer Featured On Lege Miami Show
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has disowned Olakunle Alex Folarin, a dismissed staff of the agency who recently appeared on Lege Miami’s matchmaking show.
In a statement, the EFCC said Folarin, who served as a driver at its Ibadan Zonal Directorate, was dismissed from service for certificate forgery and therefore no longer represents the Commission in any capacity.
The Commission further disclosed that its Executive Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has ordered Folarin’s arrest for being in unlawful possession of EFCC property, including an identity card, which he failed to surrender after his dismissal.
“The Executive Chairman of the EFCC has ordered Folarin’s arrest for being in possession of some Commission’s properties, including an identity card, which he should have handed over upon dismissal,” the statement partly read.
The agency warned the public against associating Folarin’s post-dismissal activities or conduct with the EFCC.
