I Remain The Salu Of Edunabon, Says Oba Oladepo

The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that he remains the Salu of Edunabon.

Oba Oladepo made the clarification while fielding questions from journalists, in Edunabon , on Wednesday.

The monarch said that the judgment by the Court of Appeal, in Akure, did not remove him as Salu of Edunabon, but recognised the stool as constitutional.

According to him, the judge ordered that the matter should be transferred to the Osun High Court for further hearing with instructions that the Chief Judge of Osun, Adepele Ojo, should assign the case to a High Court Judge.

He added that his throne remain as Salu of Edunabon for he has the appointment letter, Gazette and certificate with him.

Oba Oladepo stated further that those who are carrying rumour are not residing in Edunabon neither have the knowledge at the terrain and tradition of the town.

He, therefore, appealed to the people of Edunabon, Osun State and Nigeria at large to disregard any fake information that he has been removed from the throne.
