Foundation Donates Food Items, Cash To Inmates, Others In Niger State

A non-profit organization, the Blossom Heart Foundation, has donated four bags of rice, beans, and garri, along with cash to over 50 inmates and individuals with mental health challenges in Niger State.

The Foundation marked its 7th year anniversary with a series of impactful activities held from October 17th to 20th in Bida, Niger State, including visits to the Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development and a residential facility supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The 7th anniversary of the Blossom Heart Foundation brought together members from diverse states across Nigeria, including Lagos, Osun, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Niger, Imo, and Abuja, showcasing the organization’s broad reach and collaborative spirit.

Speaking President Olawale Joseph Olanipekun said that the anniversary celebration is a testament to the dedication of members and the foundation’s commitment to social development and community outreach.

Olanipekun disclosed that the outreach efforts reflected the organization’s mission to touch lives and foster community engagement.

He commended the commitment of the members of the foundation for adequate cooperation and support.

According to him, “this year’s anniversary was centered on the foundation’s achievements and pathways for continued growth and impact, demonstrating a commitment to collective goals”

However, General Secretary and Niger State Zonal Coordinator, Ewansiha Kingsley Osarumwense, commended all members for their commitment to supporting the welfare of the less privileged in the state.

The CEO of Blossom Heart Foundation, Mrs. Asagunla Esther, who was unavoidably absent, conveyed a message to members during the anniversary, underscoring her connection to the event and the organization’s endeavors.

The 2025 Blossom Heart Foundation anniversary was filled with various activities, including an excursion, games, and a party, among others. The event was chaired by Engr. Tanimu Yamajin, head of Welfare Department, Miss Samuel Deborah, Director of Programme, Mr. Olawale Rasheed Ayofe.
