‘I’m A Mad Man On Medication’– Portable Cries Out Amid Police Hunt
Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as Portable, has publicly declared that he is undergoing psychiatric treatment while pleading for forgiveness amid his ongoing conflict with the Ogun State Government.
Portable, who is currently wanted by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly assaulting government officials, took to Instagram on Tuesday to express his fears and struggles.
“I fear government. I am a federal government liability,” he said.
“I’m a madman; I have medications that I usually take. You can confirm from Aro Hospital. I have a card that certifies me as one of their patients,” he said.
The singer, known for his controversial personality, insisted that he was not a criminal but had been set up.
He maintained that he has no issues with the police and was only unwell and frightened.
“I do not want to die young. I do not want them to lock me up. I did not do anything bad. I am human, I am not perfect. If I wronged you, I am sorry,” he pleaded.
He further claimed that his troubles were a result of spiritual attacks and ongoing health issues, asking the Ogun State Government for leniency.
“All this evil happening to me is spiritual. I am facing a lot of sickness. Pain in my body. I am taking care of myself,” he wrote.
“Ogun State Government, forgive me.”
Portable’s emotional appeal has sparked reactions across social media, with some expressing concern for his mental well-being while others question the sincerity of his claims.
