Osun 2025: Wait For Screening Outcome Before Buying Forms – APC Elders Tell Guber Aspirants

The apex body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Igbimo Agba Osun, has directed all governorship aspirants in the state to exercise patience in obtaining the party’s nomination forms pending the submission of the report of its screening committee.
The directive was part of the resolutions reached at the group’s monthly meeting held in Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
In a communiqué signed by its chairman, Chief Engr. Sola Akinwumi, the body said it had received the report of its ad hoc committee on the 2026 Osun governorship election.
“The body put a screening committee in place and charged the committee to expeditiously screen all governorship aspirants for the 2026 election within a given timeframe,” the communiqué read.
“All the aspirants are urged to exercise patience in obtaining the prescribed forms by the party until the screening committee submits its report to this body.”
The group also called on all party stakeholders to remain steadfast and committed to the party’s progress.
