Emergence Of Oyebamiji As APC Guber Candidate Breaks Political Jinx Against Our District- Osun West APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun West Senatorial has hailed the party leadership for allowing the governorship candidate for the August 8 gubernatorial election emerged from the Osun West Senatorial district.

APC Chairman in Osun West Senatorial district, Hon. Omolaoye Oluremi Akintola, in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo, on Saturday, expressed gratitude to the
hierarchically structured leadership of the party for breaking what he described as political jinx against the district from producing Party’s Guber Flagbearer within the Progressives tendency over the years.

He expressed gratitude to God Almighty for guiding the leadership of the party towards ensuring that the party conducted a rancour free primaries.

“The entire Osun West Senatorial District’s Party strata herein pour our hearts of gratitude to the hierarchically structured leadership of our Party for breaking the political jinx against our District from producing Party’s Guber Flagbearer within the Progressives tendency over the years .

“On this feat, we shall forever remain indebtedly grateful to the following :to God Almighty who touched and guided our President, H/E Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the President of Nigeria; H/E. Chief Bisi Akande; H/E. Alh.Gboyega OYETOLA-the State Party leader; The National Working Committee [NWC]of our Party; Chief Engr Sola Akinwumi– Chairman Igbimo-Agba Osun; the State Party Executive under Hon Sooko Tajudeen Lawal and other intervening forces.

“At this juncture, all about thirteen Guber Aspirants for the contest with heavy Party mobilization across the length and breadth of Osun State in the last one year are graciously cherished and appreciated by this District .We pray to God to reward everyone of them proportionally while we are counting on their further support in all forms to ensure electoral victories in all upcoming elections commencing with 2026 Guber election slated for 8th day of August 2026.
