SPOTTED: Soludo Wears Cap With Tinubu’s Insignia During Visit To President At Aso Rock
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra, at the State House in Abuja.
Soludo, who arrived for a closed-door meeting with the president, was seen wearing a cap emblazoned with Tinubu’s insignia.
Wearing red traditional attire, the Anambra governor completed the look with a branded white Faze cap.
Soludo has served as governor of Anambra since March 2022, after succeeding Willie Obiano. Before his political career, he was governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) between 2004 and 2009.
Although a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Soludo has publicly declared support for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
The governor is seeking re-election in the November 8 gubernatorial poll in Anambra.
Neither the presidency nor Soludo has disclosed details of the meeting as of the time of this report.
