How God Saved Me From Death- Pastor Adeboye

Renowned cleric and General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, shared a personal testimony of how he overcame death seven years ago.

Adeboye shared the testimony at the March edition of the Holy Ghost Congress.
The 83-year-old cleric noted that he developed severe body aches due to poor road conditions while attending an evangelism program in Ilesha.
His health deteriorated, leaving him bedridden during the Christmas celebration.
“By the third day of this Go and Fishing, because the roads were very bad, my body could not take it anymore. So it broke down completely. For the first time in my life, I spent Christmas in bed. The devil was sure he has gotten me at last. I broke down completely in Ilesha,” Adeboye stated.
“To get me back to camp I needed to charter a helicopter. I was so down that if I had traveled by road, definitely between Ilesha and here I would have died.”
Adeboye expressed gratitude to God for keeping him alive seven years after the incident.
He recalled the challenges he faced, including the helicopter’s takeoff being disrupted by area boys who damaged one of the windows.
“So we chartered a helicopter. But then, some area boys decided that the helicopter will not take off. I managed to get in. But they clanged to the helicopter until one of the windows tore. But somehow, I managed to get to the camp,” he added.
“I had an assurance that if only I can get to the camp I will recover. Well, seven years later I am still here.”
