Tinubu Sacks Special Assistant On Digital And Creative Economy, Fegho Umunubo
President Bola Tinubu has disengaged Fegho John Umunubo from his role as Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy in the Office of the Vice President.
According to a statement issued on Monday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information and Public Relations at the State House, Umunubo’s disengagement takes effect immediately.
The statement further clarified that Umunubo no longer represents the Tinubu administration in any capacity. It cautioned stakeholders in the digital and creative economy, both within and outside the country, against engaging with him under the pretext of official government business.
“Anyone who interfaces with him in the name of President Tinubu’s administration does so at his or her own risk,” the statement warned.
Stakeholders and members of the public were urged to take note of the development and be properly guided.
