Senator Babajide Omoworare (SBO), a leading gubernatorial aspirant in Osun State ahead of the 2026 elections under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria, particularly in Osun State, on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration.

In his goodwill message, Omoworare emphasized the importance of sustaining the spiritual and moral lessons embodied in the Eid al-Adha celebration, urging Nigerians to remain steadfast in their faith in the Nigerian project and the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC.

He acknowledged the current economic challenges facing the nation, describing them as consequences of years of neglected foresight and mismanagement.

However, he expressed optimism that better days lie ahead as the Tinubu-led administration continues to implement difficult but necessary recovery measures.

“There is no denying that what we are experiencing today is largely the fallout of years of misplaced priorities and poor resource management, we abandoned our agricultural potential and other key sectors of the economy while placing excessive reliance on oil revenues. This is the time to reset, rethink, and reposition Nigeria for true and sustainable growth.” Omoworare stated.

To the people of Osun State, Senator Omoworare reaffirmed his commitment to purposeful, transparent, and development-driven leadership that prioritizes prosperity, inclusiveness, and improved quality of life.

“I use this occasion to assure the great people of Osun State of our readiness to deliver governance that is result-oriented and people-centered,” he said. “With a track record of service, solid experience, and a vision rooted in progress, I am prepared to lead Osun into an era of genuine transformation and abundance.”

He further noted: “We possess the requisite experience, exposure, and education, combined with a unique touch for innovation and progress. By God’s grace and with your support, we will bring these attributes to bear come 2026.”

Senator Omoworare concluded his message with prayers for peace, unity, and continued blessings upon the state and nation, calling on all to work together to restore Osun’s pride of place in Nigeria.
