Olubadan Is Alive And Well – Oyo Govt, PDP
The Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesperson, Mr. Michael Ogunsina, has dismissed reports claiming that the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has passed away.
He assured the public that the revered monarch is alive and in good health.
Ogunsina provided the clarification after confirming from the Oyo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Ajani Olatunbosun, that the Olubadan remains well.
He urged the public to disregard the false reports circulating about the monarch’s health.
“I just spoke with the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, Dr. Wasiu Ajani Olatunbosun, and he has confirmed to me that Kabiyesi Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, is alive, hale, and hearty,” Ogunsina stated.
He also condemned the spread of misinformation and prayed for the continued well-being of the traditional ruler, adding, “Kindly ignore the purveyors of fake news. Olorun a bá wà di Baba mú.”
