AUPCTRE Congratulates Brig. Gen. Nafiu Olakunle On NYSC Appointment

The Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE), NYSC chapter, has congratulated Brigadier General Nafiu Olakunle on his appointment as the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

In a statement signed by the union’s National Secretary, Comrade Akin Asifat-Gofment, AUPCTRE expressed its readiness to collaborate with the new leadership in fostering industrial harmony, improving staff welfare, enhancing productivity, and combating extortion and deployment racketeering within the scheme.

The union expressed confidence in Brig. Gen. Olakunle’s ability to lead NYSC to greater heights despite potential challenges.

“On behalf of our teeming members across NYSC formations, we congratulate you on this appointment. No doubt there will be stumbling blocks, but with God by your side and our sincere doggedness, we shall overcome,” the statement read.
