Re: “Why I Was Removed As Governor – Ambode”; A Fake News From The Pit Of Hell

Our attention has been drawn to a malicious and heavily fabricated publication circulating online titled “Why I Was Removed As Lagos Governor – Ambode”, containing a list of false claims allegedly attributed to His Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the former Governor of Lagos State.

We state unequivocally and with the full authority of our Principal, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, that the said publication is FAKE NEWS — cooked up by agents of destabilization, political desperadoes, and cowardly propagandists, who are threatened by his resurgent goodwill within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the growing nationwide recognition of his achievements in office.

Our group, under the leadership of Comrade Adeboye Adebayo, wishes to make it categorically clear that:

Mr. Ambode did not author or sanction the statements circulating under that headline, and he dissociates himself entirely from their contents and intent.

The publication is a failed attempt to sow discord between Mr. Ambode and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leadership of the APC, and other stakeholders in the progressive fold.

It is the work of those threatened by Mr. Ambode’s continued relevance, his commitment to party unity, and his growing chances of returning to serve Lagosians again in the near future.

Mr. Ambode remains a loyal and disciplined member of the APC and continues to work behind the scenes to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.

We urge the general public, especially members of our great party, to disregard this piece of fiction and focus on the task of building a stronger, more inclusive, and forward-looking Lagos.

We shall not be distracted by political agents who fear merit, performance, and integrity.

Our Principal’s record speaks for itself, and no amount of blackmail or misinformation can rewrite the truth.
