A non governmental organisation, Victory Support Foundation in collaboration with Southwest Progressive Group, has organized a free medical outreach programme across multiple Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Osun State, pledging unwavering support for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), a gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressive Congress (APC) administration
The event which took place at the APC Party Secretariat, Iragbiji Road, Ikirun, Osun State, drawing a large crowd and reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to community health and political support.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Olubunmi Olufunmilayo Lawal (Bumac), the CEO and Founder of the Victory Support Foundation, narrated how the vision for the medical programme was birthed.
“I am not a doctor or a nurse, but during a fifteen-day fasting and prayer, I received inspiration to provide free medical treatment for people. I immediately took action, and in the first outreach, more than one thousand people benefited. Today, over 800 people are being attended to,” she explained.
She emphasized that the free healthcare initiative is open to all residents irrespective of political party affiliation.
According to her, the programme also symbolizes a way of honouring Nigeria’s Independence Day while supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s people-focused agenda.
“The delivery of free medical health services has nothing to do with the political party you belong to; everyone is attended to equally, as long as the participant is in need of medical care.”
“We decided to support AMBO because he is a leader known for his attentiveness to community needs , and by the grace of God, he will be ordained as the next Governor of Osun State,” She added.
Ambassador Lawal further highlighted that the Foundation had already covered eight local governments, including Irewole, Ede North, Ede South, Ife Central, Olorunda, Osogbo, Boripe, and now Ifelodun, with plans for more.
Speaking, Honourable Mulikat Abiola Jimoh, a former member of the Osun State House of Assembly, who represented Ifelodun Constituency, commended the initiative, describing it as a lifeline for many residents.
“As the saying goes, ‘health is wealth.’ Without good health, nothing can be achieved.
“We thank God for Hon. Olubunmi Lawal (Bumac), who has been consistent in championing this cause. She is hardworking, competent, and diligent. Bringing this programme to Ifelodun shows her commitment to community welfare, and we are grateful,” she said.

She also acknowledged Bumac’s unwavering support for AMBO, noting that her efforts were visible proof of her dedication to the people.
“She is very hardworking, competent, and diligent. That’s the reason for inviting Ifelodun people to come around and enjoy the free medical care that she sponsored on behalf of AMBO. You can see the population out there, it’s glaring. This initiative has been brought into my constituency to communicate to the public the essence of good health. We are expecting people to come out and take good care of themselves. I love this program and thank God for its blessings.” she noted.
Mrs. Muslimat Bamidele Ibrahim, Senatorial Women Leader for Osun Central, also lauded the programme and called on residents to rally around AMBO.
“This free medical outreach speaks for itself. If he can support the people even before attaining political office, it is clear that he will do much more when elected. I also urge everyone to go and register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). It is not only important for voting but also useful for other civic responsibilities,” she emphasized.
Adeyemi Adedeji, one of the beneficiaries, shared his enthusiasm.
“Many people here are facing health challenges but cannot afford treatment due to the harsh economy. This outreach has brought hope and relief. It is free and fair, and we are grateful to the organisers. We pray God continues to bless them.” Adeyemi said.
