IBEDC Celebrates Workers’ Day, Reaffirms Commitment to Staff Welfare

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the nation’s workforce as part of the 2025 Workers’ Day commemoration.
In a statement signed by the Managing Director, Engr. Francis Agoha, IBEDC praised the resilience, dedication, and patriotism of Nigerian workers, describing them as the backbone of national progress.

He specifically acknowledged the contributions of IBEDC staff across the company’s franchise area, highlighting their professionalism and unwavering dedication in delivering essential electricity services to millions of customers.
“Our employees are at the core of everything we do. Their commitment ensures we fulfill our mandate to provide reliable power supply to the public,” he noted.
Reaffirming IBEDC’s commitment to staff welfare, the company reiterated its policies centered on workplace safety, continuous professional development, and inclusive growth.
“As a customer-centric organization, we are also investing in critical infrastructure and improving support systems to meet the evolving expectations of our customers,” the statement added.
