PATCO Lauds Philanthropic Couple’s Educational Endowment

The Patriotic Club of Ọbaagun (PATCO) has expressed profound appreciation for the altruistic gesture of its esteemed Grand-Patron and Grand-Patroness, Chief Oluomo Abdul Ganiyu Lasun Makanjuola and Chief Yeye-Oluomo Rafat Layo Makanjuola.

The philanthropic couple has recently endowed the Community Secondary Grammar School, Ọbaagun, with a state-of-the-art educational facility, comprising a block of three classrooms equipped with modern amenities.

In a statement, the Club’s President, Barrister (Chief) Mrs. Mariam Bolanle Olaniyi, Yeyemofin of Obaagun extolled the virtues of the donors, describing their gesture as “a paradigmatic example of corporate social responsibility” and a testament to their commitment to promoting educational excellence and community development.

The statement urged all well-meaning stakeholders to emulate this exemplary gesture and contribute to the betterment of their community.

The statement enjoined students and teachers of Community Secondary Grammar School, Ọbaagun to this utilize the facility optimally to enhance academic achievement and foster a culture of excellence.

It called on the Osun State Government to take cognizance of Ọbaagun township’s needs and incorporate her into its developmental agenda and programmes.

The facility was formally unveiled on Thursday, 30th January 2025.
