Faruq Abbas Celebrates Oyetola At 70
A Legal Practitioner, and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr. Faruq Abbas, has rejoiced with the former Governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alh. Gboyega Oyetola, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Speaking through a letter he wrote to the former Governor, a copy of which was made available to journalists, Abbas prayed for good health and long life for Oyetola.
In the letter, Abbas also commended Oyetola for approaching governance in Osun State, while he was Governor, with a performance-driven style devoid of needless conviviality.
According to Abbas, “with our experience over the past twnety-two months, we are now well informed that good governance goes beyond conviviality, pepper souping, and dancing”.
