OAU Governing Council Chairman, Prof Oyeweso Eulogizes Oyetola At 70

Chairman, Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Professor Siyan Oyeweso has joined other well-wishers to congratulate Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola on the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary.

Prof Oyeweso in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo, on Saturday described the celebrant as a leader and man of the people, whose connection to the everyday struggles and aspirations of the citizens is palpable

“This focus on financial discipline did not hinder physical development, as your administration was responsible for numerous infrastructural projects that enhanced the state’s growth. Roads were constructed, healthcare facilities improved, and educational institutions strengthened—all of which left an indelible mark on the state.
